The room

The room

Walk into the room but watch your step

Scattered around the wood floor

Are broken pieces of a life unlived

In front of you are three shelves

On the top shelf you will find what you seek

The object is there patiently collecting dust

High expectations have been all throw away

Now that time has passed it by

The style and design of the object

Reveal it belonged in a time long ago

Over looked till this moment

And knowing there would be no second chance

Now that you have it within your grasp

The object is forever yours

No one will challenge you for it

And it can never leave you

So step over broken objects and be on your way

Nothing has been distrubed or missed from the room so you will leave no mark
